It is completely updated and contains information for all residents of the community and all interested persons who may access us on the Web.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to making our community a safe place to live, work, and raise a family. The hard work of our employees and others in local law enforcement has paid off. The overall crimes reported in the areas of Monroe County that we patrolled has seen a 25 percent decline from 1980-2000. In addition, over the past 10 years, we have seen a 13 percent decrease in burglary offenses and a 9 percent increase in clearing open cases.

Our Web site offers you the opportunity to become a partner with law enforcement. Not only will you be able to access important information about your neighborhood, your community and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, you will even be able to link to related sites like Crimestoppers.
